A new look for Pure Elegance

The above logo design by Dipesh Mistry was created for Pure Elegance beauty salon. The salon based in Ashton-Under-Lyne, Greater Manchester specialises in the Wedding Beauty, Hair and Makeup, Beauty Salons and Cosmetic Treatments.

The salon requested a logo that was simplistic and she also wanted to see a design which communicated something meaningful about the business and the service she offered but without being too predictably obvious.

You can see Dipesh's initial ideas for the Pure Elegance logo in his designs illustration shown above which illustrate possible solutions for the Pure Elegance for the beauty salon's new identity.

Dipesh's final design shown at the top of his page depicts a bold logo with abstract style forks made from solid shapes to represent the symbol part of the design. The Jane Austen typeface also works well in communicating the nails polish theme.

I was approached by a family friend to create a series of graphic designs that would be used to launch and promote their business. During the first week, I began to plan how I would approach each element that I needed to design for print. During my second week, I delivered a series of designs for the company brand, theme and colour schemes.
